At the airport, with no connection

Revenue splits by day and by vehicle
Cash is recorded when collected, revenue when earned. A 30-day rental starting 15 November is collected today, but the revenue splits 16 days into November and 14 into December. If the vehicle changes, it splits on a second axis too.

- 20 November is both November revenue and Vehicle B revenue; the daily line settles it.
- Swap day goes to the old vehicle.
- The cut is an instant, the accrual is a day — the total is always 30, never 29 or 31.
- Locked when the period closes.
- Past accruals never change; corrections are posted as reversals in the new period.
